Botulinum Toxin Type A, most commonly referred to as Botox, is a purified natural protein used to relax muscles and smooth fine lines that over time create a frowning expression between the brows. Each treatment consists of tiny injections in that area and lasts from 10 to 15 minutes. There is no downtime, and normal daily activities can be resumed immediately following a treatment.
