Our state-of-the-art GE Lunar system scans the whole body to analyze the distribution of fat and lean tissue. The patient lies down on a comfortable, padded table, while the arm of the machine travels over the body. There is no contact between the arm and the patient. The test takes only a few minutes to complete. The data yielded is then categorized in composition of the left arm, left leg, left trunk, total left side, right arm, right leg, right trunk, total right side, total arms, total legs, total trunk, and total body. This information is printed in color, along with a graph for comparison of this data to statistics available for the same age group, and is then discussed with our board certified physician.
