Rosacea is a skin condition in which the skin appears red and blotchy due to an elongated expansion of the capillaries under the skin’s surface. The cause of this disease remains unknown, but it does tend to be hereditary.
The symptoms include:
Red blotches or increased redness on the face, especially on the cheeks.
Small pustules or bumps on the skins surface.
Red lines on the face.
Inflammation of the nose.
In some cases the eyes are also effected and become red and itchy.
